Who am I?Simply: My name is Dan Adams. In-depth: I have been an active Christian since 1995, I say active because I have been brought up in the church since I was an infant. Being active in the Christian ministry means that I was involved as a leader for the Youth Alive (Christian) club at my high school, and doing webmastering and other computer based ministry work. I am also involved with some of the activities and the LifeStudy Thursday night bible study at the Baptist Student Ministry (BSM). Some other interests that I have are Music and Computers. I have done some musical arranging and I also have played several musical instruments which include trumpet, baritone, piano, and hand-bells. An addition to the music that I participate in is that I formerly was in choir at college. As you can see, I have also written several poems, some of which I have also written music for. Many of them are viewable on the website here by clicking on poetry. Traveling, hiking and seeing different sites is something that I find enjoyable. When I am out, I usually like to take pictures of some of the sites that I see and find. Select pictures from what I take when I am traveling are available on the website under the heading of photos. If you have thoughts based on wether or not I have been to a certain location and got to see certain things, ask me, I may even have a picture of it. Computer programming languages that I have learned include BASIC, which stands for Beginners All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code, C++, Java, JavaScript, and HTML coding and many others. I am self-taught in those languages. I also plan on learning Pascal and in school in addition to those other languages and any others. The computer which I use most (my personal computer) was originally built by my Dad and myself. Since then, it has been rebuilt by myself several times. |
